Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data this site collects and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect and why
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address, so we can send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
- Tool submissions: your name and email, so we can tell you whether the tool was approved. Your name may appear on the listing as the submitter; your email is never published.
- Reviews: your name (published with the review) and email (not published), used only to moderate reviews and prevent spam.
- Contact form: your name, email and message, so we can reply.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and pages requested for security and error diagnosis. These are kept for a short period and then deleted.
- Analytics: we use privacy-focused, cookie-free page-view counting to see which pages are popular. It does not identify you.
Cookies
The site sets one session cookie needed for forms to work securely. It contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser. We don't use advertising cookies.
Third parties
- The site is hosted by Hostinger. Data you submit is stored on their servers.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and tool logos from Google's favicon service, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.
- Paid listings are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which handles payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
- Links to other websites are subject to those sites' policies.
How long we keep data
Newsletter emails until you unsubscribe. Submissions and reviews for as long as the listing exists. Contact messages for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated.
